University Impact

University Impact (UI) is a nonprofit that invests in companies and nonprofits solving social and environmental problems. Investments are focused on funding the most promising social ventures. UI hosts the unique Triple Donor-Advised Fund that helps donor-advisors create the most impact with their investments, while creating the next generation of social impact leaders. UI provides undergraduate and graduate students, globally, with an immersive, hands-on learning experience in impact investing and philanthropy so that they can use these experiences to do social good throughout the entirety of their careers.

UI actively sources and funds early-stage ventures that are seeking debt, equity or grant funding. These organizations can be either nonprofits or for profit companies based anywhere in the world that are solving social and environmental problems. UI uses the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as targets for impact and all investment decisions are considered through a gender lens. Student associates perform research to identify and compare opportunities for creating social impact. Associates also perform all the financial and impact due diligence for the donor and submit it to UI’s Investment Committee.
