Ian Simmons is Co-Founder and Principal of Blue Haven Initiative, a family office dedicated to investing for-profit and non-profit capital to solve social problems. BHI is currently focused on new opportunities in emerging markets as well as the United States.

Results of for-profit and not-for-profit projects that Ian has catalyzed have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post, as well as on CBS, NBC, ABC, and CNN.

Ian serves on several boards, including Karibu Homes and Fund for the Republic. He graduated with honors from Harvard College in 2000. Ian lives with his wife, Liesel, in the Boston area.
